Hongkong Land Limited has set up a 50/50 joint venture with Chongqing Longhu Real Estate Development Inc. to develop the Bamboo Grove project, a high quality residential development along the Jialing River in the Hi-tech Industry Development Zone of Chongqing.

Enjoying the best sandy beach of the Jialing River, Bamboo Grove is embraced by green mountains, braided streams, abound vegetations and singing birds. The development is situated near the Zhaomu Mountain city park, 15 minutes from the Jiangbei Business District and 20 minutes from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.

With a total site area of approximately 7,800,000 sq. ft, the Bamboo Grove project is planned to be a composite development consisting of villas, townhouses, low-rise apartments, high-rise apartments, Sport Park, chapel, retails and so on. The pre-sales of Phase 1 of Bamboo Grove were launched in September 2007, with 68 five-storey residential blocks, offering 652 three to five bedrooms units, and apartments of Phase 1 have been substantially sold. Phase 2 has four types of apartments, including low-rise apartments, duplex, low-rise with lift and middle-rise apartments. Four types’ apartments of Phase 2 have been gradually launched from the end of 2007; nearly 60% apartments of Phase 2 were sold in November 2008. Furthermore, Phase 3 is in design and planning progress.
